Getting ready to leave

This post is just a place holder for setting up the blog.  We are getting ready to go on a multi-month RVing trip out to the western part of the USA. Our plan is to get west of the Mississippi before we start any sightseeing.  We want to spend the majority of our time in placing that we can't get to without a major effort.  We can alway see most of the locations east of the Mississippi  on a much shorter trip.
